That’s where Not My Dog Pet Services comes in! We ensure your furry friends get their daily dose of exercise, stimulation, and adventure they crave, even when life gets hectic. Regular walks help prevent boredom, reduce anxiety, and keep tails wagging all day long. Plus, we will absolutely let them stop and sniff every blade of grass if that’s what their little heart desires

We will strive to walk your pets together only if they can be safely managed. Safety is our top priority.

For your pup’s safety, we will
never let them off-leash.

Unless we’re in a fully enclosed area (like a dog park). Even the best recall can forget itself with a new face!

No worries!

We’ll happily cross the road or create distance to make sure your pup stays comfortable and stress-free.

When we’re out walking, your dog will get our full attention.

No scrolling Facebook or texting; unless it’s to snap a cute photo for your update, of course!

Not sure if we can handle your dog?

We’ve got plenty of experience with larger breeds; including American Staffies, Golden Retrievers, Huskies, and Labradors.
Big paws don’t scare us! That said, safety is always our top priority; for your dog and for us. We’re happy to walk
strong dogs who can be safely managed (halti or harness welcome!), but we may not be the right fit for dogs
who are highly reactive and unable to be safely controlled on lead. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out for a chat
or arrange a meet and greet. We’re here to help and happy to assess your pup’s needs.

Have an anxious pet? No worries!

We know that some pets take a little extra time to warm up, and that’s perfectly okay. We have plenty of experience
handling nervous and anxious animals. We approach every interaction with patience, care, and understanding.
Whether your furry friend is a bit shy, wary of new faces, or just needs a gentler touch, we’re here to help them
feel safe and comfortable. We take time to build their trust and take things at their pace,
and before you know it, we’ll be the best of friends!

However, for the safety of everyone (including your pet!), we are unable to care for animals who show
aggressive behaviour towards humans or have a history of biting. If you're unsure, we’re happy to discuss this
at the meet and greet to make sure everyone feels safe and supported!

Can I book in a certain time of day for my booking?
Absolutely! You can request a morning, lunchtime, or evening visit; whatever suits your pet’s routine best. While we do have regular weekly bookings at certain times, we always do our best to accommodate your preferred time. If you have a specific request, just let us know, and we’ll try work around our schedule to make it happen!
What time do you usually arrive and leave for overnight pet sitting?
Our standard overnight pet sitting hours are 6:15pm to 6:15am. We have other pets to care for with morning and afternoon bookings, so we work around those schedules. If you need a slightly earlier arrival or later departure, you're welcome to request it; we’ll always do our best to accommodate where we can!

Book in an initial meet and greet via our booking system so your furbabies get familiar with us before you leave. This is where any other details relating to your booking can be discussed (reactivity, feeding, access, etc…).

Do you take on nervous or reactive pets?
Yes, we do! We understand that not every pet is a social butterfly, and that’s okay. Whether your furry friend is shy, nervous, or reactive to certain triggers, we’ll work with you to create a plan that makes them feel safe, comfortable, and understood. However, we will not take on any pets with aggression or a biting history.
Can you accommodate special needs or specific pet care requests?
Absolutely! We understand that every furbaby is unique and may need extra care or attention. Whether your pet has medical needs, dietary restrictions, or specific routines, we’re here to help! We can even administer oral medication if required. Just let us know your pet’s needs, and we’ll make sure they get the paw-fect care.
How do you handle emergencies or medical issues with pets?
If a medical issue arises, we’ll immediately contact you and follow your instructions. If urgent care is needed, we’ll take your pet to your preferred vet or nearest vet. We ask that you to provide emergency contact details and vet details at the time of booking to ensure we have these on hand if ever required, to ensure your fur-baby gets the best care possible.
